GIYAARWEE SHAREEF 

 

On Sunday 29 April 2007 a special programme for the Esaale Sawaab of Hazrat Peer Shaikh Sayed Abdul Qadir Jilani (R.A.) was celebrated at the Saaberie Chishty Masjid Extension 6 Lenasia, Gauteng South Africa after Esha Salaah.

 

The programme commenced with a Yaseen Khatam Shareef, followed by a Qiraat by Hafez Taulibuddin Nuruddin, thereafter the students of Saaberie Chishty Zia-ul-Uloom jointly recited the Qasidah Burdah Shareef. A Naat Shareef was then recited by Muhammed Ali Bhikhan. Then came the guest Naat reciter Janaab Faiz Ahmed Saeedi from Pakistan a gold medalist Award winner, who in his own unique style rendered Naat Shareef as well as Manqabats in the praise of Gous Paak Hazrat Shaikh Sayed Abdul Qadir Jilani (R.A.) he also rendered a beautiful manqabat in praise of Hazrat Khwaja Gharib Nawaaz (R.A.) and Hazrat Sabir Paak Kalyari (R.A.) 

 

The congregation was fortunate to have the presence of his eminence Hazrat Allama Mufti Mubarak Hoosain Shah Saheb from Pakistan as the guest of honour at this special event (Giyaarwee Shareef) Allama Mufti Saheb outlined in his discourse using Quraanic verses that evil and good can never be on par.

 

Good virtuous deeds are not only beneficial to the one who has carried them out but also beneficial to those who attach themselves to the virtuous and pious.

Amongst the many great points Allama Saheb outlined his emphasis was on "attach/associate yourself with the friends of Allah" for this is the only way of salvation in this world and the hereafter

 

The programmed concluded with a Salaato Salaam and Dua by Allama Mufti Mubarak Hoosain Shah Saheb.

Niaz refreshments was then served to all participants.
