The members felt the need to provide support and relief to the community of Lenasia as well as other geographical areas on a wider scale. The society sends relief nationally and internationally to areas that have been afflicted with disaster.

Funds are collected through donations, weekly collections etc.

 The Saaberie Chishty Youth Society maintains that
“The More You Give The More We can Do”

The members of Saaberie Chishty Youth Society felt the need to provide support and relief to the community of Lenasia as well as other geographical areas on a wider scale. The society sends relief nationally and internationally to areas that have been inflicted with disaster.

Earthquake Relief, Pakistan, 2005

During this relief operation various collections took place in the form of monetary collections, clothing collections and non perishable food stuff collections. Alhamdullilah through the generous contributions made by the South African community and in conjunction with Jamia Razvia Zia-ul-Uloom Pakistan, Hundreds of Pakistanis benefited from this relief operation.

Winter Warm Campaign 2006

Due to the severe winter experienced in South Africa in May 2006 and reported cases of Hypothermia the organization reacted quickly towards the plea of the Homeless and Destitute by providing them with blankets and Warm clothes for the bitter winter months that were fast approaching. Through the generous support of the public sponsoring funds for the Winter Warm Campaign nearly Two Thousand Blankets and hundreds of winter clothes were distributed in Lenasia, Lenasia South, Ennerdale, Poortjie, Everton, Eldorado Park, Soweto and Protea. Inshallah the organisation hopes to continue with this Winter Warm Campaign Annually.
